July 4, 2026The Valley, Anguilla – June 12, 2026 – The road to the 2026 Anguilla Summer Festival officially accelerated as Motorworld formalized its commitment as the title sponsor of the Grand Parade of Troupes, presenting a sponsorship contribution of $30,000XCD to support one of Anguilla’s most anticipated cultural showcases.

The official signing and cheque presentation ceremony brought together representatives from Motorworld, the Anguilla Festivals Development Commission, the Anguilla Summer Festival Committee, Grand Parade of Troupes Committee members, troupe leaders, media representatives and cultural stakeholders.
Chairperson of the 2026 Grand Parade of Troupes Committee, Ms. Kay Gumbs, expressed appreciation to the committee members, troupe leaders, sponsors and supporters whose dedication has made the return and growth of the Grand Parade of Troupes possible.
Ms. Gumbs also highlighted the strong level of participation already received, with several adult and children’s troupes registered for this year’s festivities and encouraged additional revelers to become part of what promises to be an unforgettable celebration.
Chairman of the Anguilla Summer Festival Committee, Mr. Fitzroy “Briggy” Tomlinson, welcomed the return and expansion of the Parade of Troupes, emphasizing the importance of sustained corporate partnerships in developing the event.
A major highlight of the evening was the official signing of the sponsorship agreement between Motorworld and the Anguilla Festivals Development Commission, marking the beginning of a strengthened partnership dedicated to preserving and promoting Anguilla’s cultural heritage.
Representing Motorworld Anguilla, General Manager Mr. Nijel Robin shared the company’s enthusiasm for supporting the Parade of Troupes and the broader Summer Festival experience.

Mr. Robin noted Motorworld’s continued investment in Anguilla’s cultural celebrations, having supported previous Anguilla Summer Festival events including the Miss Anguilla Pageant and Calypso Monarch competitions. He added that the company is proud to now take on a leading role in the Grand Parade of Troupes and looks forward to contributing to its continued growth and success.
The ceremony also provided an exclusive preview of the creative concepts that will transform Anguilla’s streets on Parade Day. Participating troupes showcased their themes and artistic visions, including The Feelo’Je Experience with Spirit: The Reckoning, Players Troupe with Guardians of Paradise: Keepers of Anguilla’s Legacy, and Infinity Illusions Carnival Troupe with Into the Blue. Additional participating troupes include Island Revellers, Dominicano Tropical Fantasy and the Stoney Ground Moko Jumbies, while the children’s division will feature Anguilla Fusion Revelers, Island Majorettes and Rainbow City Revelers.
Chairman of the Anguilla Festivals Development Commission, Mr. Romare Kelsick, expressed gratitude to Motorworld and recognized the Parade Committee’s efforts in securing a partnership that will further elevate the festival.
The 2026 Anguilla Summer Festival will be celebrated under the theme “Anguilla for Summer” from July 24 to August 9, 2026. The highly anticipated Grand Parade of Troupes will take place on Friday, August 7, 2026, when the streets of Anguilla will come alive with vibrant costumes, music, creativity and the unmatched spirit of carnival.
