Tyrique Gumbs (Super Mario) was born and raised on the island of Anguilla. Tyrique attended the valley primary school and later on to the ALHCS school . Super Mario journey into Calypso started in 2012 where he first enter the junior calypso monarch Competition in Anguilla .
In 2015 super Mario captured his first Junior Calypso title . Super Mario journey in the junior calypso competition continue through till 2019 where he competed for the final time in the junior division . During the period 2012 to 2019 super Mario managed to capture the junior monarch 3 times. Now as an adult super Mario Is excited to be entering the senior calypso monarch.
