On May 5th, the Anguilla Air & Sea Port Authority successfully hosted its Second Annual Sponsorship Media Day, bringing together major stakeholders from across the island’s vibrant carnival landscape. The event highlighted AASPA’s sponsorship commitments, including cheque presentations to the Anguilla Summer Festival and various cultural entities such as the Anguilla Boat Racing Committee, soca artist Viggy, the South Valley Street Community Festival, and the South Hill Community, among others. Notably, AASPA contributed $20,000 USD in direct sponsorship, along with an additional $5,000 USD worth of Festival Passport books, reinforcing its strong commitment to culture and community-driven events as part of the Anguilla Summer Festival.
Chairman of the Anguilla Summer Festival, Fitzroy ‘Briggy’ Tomlinson delivered brief remarks expressing gratitude to the Anguilla Air & Sea Port Authority for its invaluable contribution toward the festival’s continued growth and success. He also took the opportunity to highlight the highly anticipated Festival Passbook Initiative, providing a concise overview of how it operates.
The Festival Passbook, available for $50, offers patrons exclusive access to festival experiences while also presenting an exciting opportunity to win. At the conclusion of the festival season, one fortunate participant will walk away with the grand prize of $10,000USD, adding an extra layer of excitement to this year’s celebrations.
