The Anguilla Summer Festival Committee, alongside the Government of Anguilla and all key stakeholders, proudly extends heartfelt congratulations to Trans Anguilla Airways on the successful launch of its inaugural flight from Anguilla to Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
Representatives of the Anguilla Summer Festival Committee joined members of the Anguilla Tourist Board on this historic journey, commemorating a significant milestone in regional connectivity and cultural exchange between the islands. The inaugural flight marks a new chapter in strengthening travel links and fostering deeper collaboration across the Caribbean.
Remarks on behalf of Anguilla were delivered by the Director of Tourism, Mr. Jameel Rochester, who underscored the importance of enhanced regional access and its positive impact on tourism and economic growth. Representing the Anguilla Summer Festival, Marketing Representative Mr. O’leary Richardson also delivered remarks, commending Trans Anguilla Airways for its visionary step in establishing this exciting new route.

The Anguilla Summer Festival Committee also commends Trans Anguilla Airways and the Government of the British Virgin Islands for their acceptance and support of this visionary initiative, which paves the way for improved regional connectivity and shared economic and cultural growth.
Mr. Richardson further extended warm invitations to residents and visitors of the British Virgin Islands to experience the vibrancy and cultural richness of Anguilla by attending the Anguilla Summer Festival 52. Scheduled from July 24-August 9, the festival promises an unforgettable celebration of music, culture and tradition under the theme “Anguilla for Summer.”
The Anguilla Summer Festival Committee looks forward to welcoming travelers via this new route and anticipates that this enhanced connectivity will contribute to increased cultural exchange and tourism opportunities between Anguilla and the wider Caribbean region.
